How it works

Four steps to start

From your first order to your first paying customer — typically two weeks.

1

Order your connection

Pick Fiber if you're in Juba, Starlink Priority anywhere else. We'll match the plan tier to how many users you expect.

2

We install & configure

DishNet handles physical setup and configures the hotspot system — voucher-based access, user limits, dashboard. No technical knowledge needed from you.

3

Sell internet access

You sell daily, weekly, or monthly vouchers to neighbors, tenants, or walk-in customers. Cash or mobile money — your choice.

4

Monitor & grow

See active users, revenue, and usage from your phone. DishNet provides ongoing support and helps you upgrade as you scale.

FAQ

Common questions

Things customers ask before starting.

For commercial resale, you need a Starlink Priority plan — they're designed for business and high-capacity use. We match the data tier (500GB / 1TB / 2TB / 3TB / 5TB) to how many users you expect. Residential plans are for personal use at a single household and aren't the right fit for selling access.
Starlink generally provides reliable service in South Sudan, but no internet is 100%. If the connection drops, your hotspot pauses automatically — paid users aren't billed for unavailable time. Uptime is Starlink's responsibility, not DishNet's.
For a small hotspot (under 10 users), the 20 Mbps plan at $50/mo works fine. For 10–20 users or anywhere you'll have concurrent video calls, go with 40 Mbps ($75/mo). For an office building or larger setup, 60 Mbps ($100/mo) is the right choice. You can upgrade between tiers as you grow.
DishNet fiber is live in 30+ Juba neighborhoods. See the coverage page for the full list, or message us with your address and we'll confirm. Outside Juba, fiber isn't available — use Starlink Priority instead.
DishNet's fiber network targets 99.9% uptime. If there's an outage, your hotspot pauses automatically — paid users aren't billed for unavailable time. Our Juba support team handles incidents on WhatsApp at +211921443002.
However you want. Most operators use cash for short-term vouchers (day pass, week pass) and mobile money for monthly subscribers. The hotspot system tracks who's connected and for how long — you decide the price.
The hotspot system lets you set per-user speed limits, data caps, and time windows. You can pause or remove users with one tap from your phone. Heavy users get throttled automatically before they impact others.
In Juba: same-day connection install once stock/coverage is confirmed, then 1–2 days for hotspot configuration. Outside Juba (Starlink): depends on technician travel, typically within a week. Most partners are ready to onboard customers within two weeks.
No. DishNet sets everything up for you. The customer-facing app shows active users, voucher sales, and revenue in plain language. If you can use WhatsApp, you can run this business.
Yes — start with the smallest plan that fits your expected users, and upgrade as you grow. When you hit hardware limits, add a MikroTik router or extend coverage with NanoStations. Many operators scale up over 6–12 months.

Important · Please read before committing All earnings examples on this page are illustrative based on typical operator setups — they are not income guarantees or projections of your individual results. Actual revenue depends on the number of paying users you sign up, what you charge, payment collection consistency, and local market conditions. Internet service terms, plan availability, and pricing are set by the upstream provider and may change; you are responsible for choosing a plan that fits your intended use case. DishNet's role is to supply hardware, configure the hotspot system, and provide local support — we are not a guarantor of your business outcomes. Hardware, subscription, install, and any add-on charges are owed regardless of whether you acquire users.
