Run a café, lodge, or shop? Grant a customer Wi-Fi for a set amount of time. When the timer runs out, they're auto-disconnected. Charge whatever you want.
Make sure Hotspot Mode is on (see the previous tutorial if it's not).
On the Hotspot dashboard, you'll see a Connected count showing how many devices are on your Wi-Fi right now. Tap it.
Every device on your Wi-Fi shows up here. The list shows the device name, the IP address, and a small clock icon on the right.
Find the customer who just paid you. Their phone usually shows up as something like Samsung-A15, Tecno-Spark-9, iPhone, etc.
Tap the clock icon on their row.
A sheet pops up. Pick how much time the customer paid for:
30 min · 1 hour · 4 hours · 24 hours
Or type a custom number of minutes (1 to 10,080 — that's 7 days). Tap Go for custom.
Cash collected (optional): if the customer paid you in cash, type the amount in SSP and a quick note like "Table 4" or "Walk-in". This logs the sale. You can leave both blank if you're tracking money another way.
Give Samsung-A15 internet for a set time. After the timer expires the device will be auto-paused.
Once you tap the time chip, the customer is granted internet. Their device row now shows a green countdown badge (59:47) and the clock icon turns green.
You don't need to do anything else. When the timer hits zero, the app auto-pauses the device. The customer's phone will say "no internet" and they'll need to come back to you (and pay again) for more time.
If they pay for more time before the timer ends, just tap the clock icon again on their row to extend the grant.
If you want to cut them off early, long-press the green clock icon to revoke.
