How to log in to DishNet

DishNet uses your phone number and a WhatsApp code to sign you in — no passwords to remember. The same login works in the Android app and on the web portal.

Open the app and enter your phone number

The first screen asks for the phone number on your DishNet account — the one our team registered when you signed up. Type it in with the country code at the start.

For numbers in South Sudan, that's +211 followed by your number with no leading zero.

Tap Send code via WhatsApp when you're ready.

Don't have the app yet? You have two options — download the Android app from the Play Store, or use the web portal in any browser at the customer login page. The login flow is identical — phone number plus WhatsApp code — and the screens look the same. iPhone users should use the web portal until our iOS app launches.
Tip: If your phone doesn't have + on the number pad, hold down the 0 key — that adds a plus.

Wait for the code on WhatsApp

Within a few seconds, you'll get a 6-digit code in a WhatsApp message from DishNet Africa. The code is valid for 5 minutes.

Open WhatsApp, copy the code, then come back to the DishNet app.

Didn't get a code? Check that the phone number you entered is the one registered with DishNet. If it is and there's still no message, tap Resend code after the timer runs out, or message us on WhatsApp.

Type the code into the app

Back in the DishNet app, type or paste the 6-digit code into the box. Tap Verify.

If the code is correct, you're in. If it's wrong, the app will tell you and you can try again.

First time logging in? The app will show you our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy once. Tick the box and tap Accept & continue to finish setup. You'll only see this on first login or after we update the terms.

You're in — meet your home screen

You'll land on your home screen. At the top is your name, your service type (Starlink, Fiber, or LTE), and your current plan. Below that are quick actions for the things you'll do most: change your Wi-Fi password, manage hotspot mode, view invoices.

The five tabs at the bottom — Home, Sites, Invoices, Support, Account — are how you move around the app.

That's it. Now you're ready to use everything else.
