Internet down or sluggish? Before calling support, check your dish status. The app talks directly to your Starlink and tells you whether it's reachable, with one-tap refresh.
From the bottom tabs, tap Sites. You'll see every Starlink site on your account.
Tap the site you want to check. The site detail page is where dish status lives.
Below the usage card you'll find Dish Status. It has three possible states:
🟢 Online — the dish is reachable and serving data. Internet should be working.
🔴 Offline — the dish is not responding. Power, cable, or sky-view issue.
⚪ Unavailable — we couldn't check right now (auth or rate-limit issue, not your fault).
The timestamp "2m ago" tells you how recent the check was. If it's old, tap Refresh.
Red dot = your dish isn't responding. Three things to check, in this order:
1. Power. Is the dish powered on? Is the router blinking? Is mains power working at all (Juba load-shedding)?
2. Cable. Is the cable from the dish to the router still firmly plugged in? Has anyone moved or pulled it?
3. Sky view. Has anything new blocked the dish's view of the sky? Trees grow, things get put on roofs, dust storms accumulate.
If all three look fine and it's still offline after 5-10 minutes, tap Contact support directly from this card. Our team can see the same status and run more checks.
The Refresh button does a live status check — it asks Starlink right now, instead of using the cached value.
Tap it once. The button briefly disables, then updates with a fresh status and a new "just now" timestamp.
This is most useful when you've just plugged the dish back in, or just reset the router, and want to verify it's actually back online before walking away.
