How to get help on WhatsApp

WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach our support team. The app opens WhatsApp with our number and a pre-filled message — you just hit send. Replies come back within minutes during working hours.

Tap the Support tab at the bottom

From any screen, tap Support in the bottom navigation (the question-mark icon).

This opens the Support screen, which has all the ways to reach us in one place: WhatsApp, phone, email, and quick links to common issues.

What hours is support available? WhatsApp messages are answered 8 AM to 8 PM Juba time, every day. Outside those hours, send a message anyway — we'll reply first thing the next morning. For urgent outages, the system automatically alerts our on-call engineer.

Tap the green WhatsApp card at the top

The big green WhatsApp card at the top is the fastest way. Tap it — the app opens WhatsApp on your phone with our support number already loaded and a starter message ready to send.

Below the card you'll see other contact options: call us on +211 921 443 005, or email support@dishnetafrica.com. Use these if WhatsApp isn't working for you.

Even further down, the Common issues shortcuts give you quick links for the four things customers ask most: slow internet, password changes, paying invoices, and checking if there's an outage in your area.

"Internet slow or down" is its own shortcut because it's the most common reason people contact support. Tapping it sends a different pre-filled message that tells the team you're reporting a problem — they'll start checking your dish status before you finish typing.

WhatsApp opens with a starter message — just hit send

WhatsApp opens with our number (+211 921 443 002) and a message already typed: "Hi DishNet, I need help with my service."

You can edit the message before sending if you want to add details (e.g. "Hi DishNet, my internet has been off since 2 PM at the Lodge"). Or just hit send and we'll reply asking for details.

Our team can see your account from your WhatsApp number, so we already know who you are when you message — no need to give your account number unless asked.

Tip for faster help: if you're reporting a problem, send us a quick screenshot of the dish status (from that tutorial) or a speed test result. With visuals, we can usually diagnose the issue in one or two messages instead of going back and forth.
